Carla Swansburg (VP & General Manager, Epiq Canada) and Tiana Van Dyk (Director, Client Solutions for Epiq) will present on the topic of “Strategies for Data Breach Management: Leveraging your eDiscovery Skills for Data Breach Work”. Data breaches have many parallels to eDiscovery work. “Breach readiness” is, for example, not that different from litigation readiness. Similarly, the work required to respond to a breach overlaps in many ways with eDiscovery. We will talk about leveraging your eDiscovery skills, experience and resources for dealing with data breaches from end to end, including how eDiscovery technologies are currently being used in data breach responses.
